Silky Terrier Rescue
Twenty Silky Terriers were taken in to the Silky Terrier Club of America Rescue Program in July, 2008. It seems that many of these Silkys had very little socialization before they came to us. Their foster families have reported that some of them have been very shy and fearful (and you can see this in some of their pictures), but that they have responded to the love and care that their adoptive and foster families are providiing.We received 7 girls ranging in age from 10 months to 6 1/2 years old. There were 13 boys in this group, ranging in age from 10 weeks to 10 years. Most of the boys were younger than 1 1/2 years old, with the exception of one 3 y.o. and 2 that were 10 years old.
