Caroline was rescued by Karen from a puppy mill in Mississippi. Jim and Sandra drove all the way from North Carolina to get Caroline and make her part of their family. They already had a silky, 2 year old Rowdy, and they wanted another silky.
Silky Terrier Rescue and Adoption
Jim and Sandra say that, "Caroline is just a joy...She and Rowdy are becoming best friends...she is learning from him. He has always had a loving home since he was 8 weeks old and she has been in a very bad place all of her life. We have told her never again will anyone mistreat her or be mean to her. She seems to like being loved and petted. She gets happier everyday. She wags her tail, runs, and plays with Rowdy. All of these are things she has never gotten to do before. She barks at the TV, I think because she has never seen one before. When you live in a cage all of your life you don't know what TV is or what carpet is or what love is. All we ask of her is to love us back and she doesn't seem to have a problem with that. I have a cross stitch that my mother did for me...it says 'God, please let me be the person that my dog thinks I am.' How true this is! They love us, no matter what."
