Frankie Available for Adoption in Maryland!

Frankie is a 4, almost 5, year old Silky Terrier who is very sweet, and loves to snuggle and sit on laps. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and is kid-approved. She is leash trained and is working on not being reactive to other dogs and squirrels. She’s all bark, though; all she wants to do is give kisses. Frankie is housebroken and will go potty on a leash or on a pad (although she does sometimes miss). She is not as good at notifying when she needs to go out, so regular scheduled potty breaks work best for her. Frankie currently has a large fenced-in yard and loves to run in it. She is an escape artist, though, so she needs to be watched if left to run free in a yard.

Frankie is in good health, spayed, UTD on shots, heartworm negative, and takes Bravecta and Heartguard preventives. Frankie is a good girl about having her teeth brushed, and especially loves peanut butter toothpaste. Her current owner is leaving for college and wants to find the perfect place for Frankie.

Frankie was rescued 3 years ago and has separation anxiety if left alone for more than a few hours, defecating, eating her waste, and getting sick.
